Our Events

We’re excited to continue the “Club 252” initiative.  We invite you to join or renew with a gift of $252 or greater. We believe that “Club 252” builds enthusiasm for the Education Foundation, creates opportunities for our generous donors to become more closely involved, and increases our ability to fund the creative works of our teachers and students.

Donations are gratefully received at any point throughout the year by mail.

Give to the Max Day - Thursday, November 19th - Virtual Fundraiser

Give to the Max Day 2020

Every year the Cannon Falls Education Foundation participates in the Give to the Max Day through givemn.org. In November, non-profits and charities across the state of Minnesota participate in an online fundraising drive. Please mark your calendars and join us. Your donation is tax deductible and your participation in this virtual event gives CFEF a chance to earn additional monies through the Give to the Max website and Raise Minnesota initiative.

Bomber Spirit Night  - Canceled

Each football season prior to a select game, CFEF partners with Merchants Bank and Mayo Clinic Health System Cannon Falls to host Bomber Spirit Night. The pandemic may have forced us to cancel this event, but it will not dampen the Bomber spirit! We look forward to the day, hopefully in the very near future, when we can come together and show our pride for our schools and community.

Benefit Auction - Spring 2020 - Canceled

We have decided to cancel this year's auction. Thank you for all of your support in the past. We look forward to seeing you again at next year's auction.

This year's auction will once again be held at the Mill Street Tavern from 5:30-10:00 pm. The Annual Benefit Auction has become the CFEF's largest fund-raising event. The great support of local businesses and community members is showcased as we auction off many great hand-made items, local products, and services. The added excitement of the live auction, games, wine pull, along with the VIP Platinum Pass which includes the chance to play and win all night, and the chance to become the "live auction spoiler" make this a "Can't miss" event for the community. All of this plus hors d'oeuvres and desserts! Who could ask for more?

The success of this event directly effects the amount the Foundation is able to fund towards the innovative and creative experiences for students of Cannon Falls Area Schools. It is our hope that the CF community will continue to embrace this event and give us the opportunity to continue our mission. There will be something for everyone!!!

Poker Social - Friday, October 30th, 2020 Poker Social

We have a fun and exciting new event planned for Friday, October 30th from 5:30-8:30. It is the CF Education Foundation Poker Social, sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants Bank. We are hoping that this will be a fun social night, as well as an important fundraiser in this unusual and unpredictable year. Our goal is to raise money for educational programs in a safe and respectable way and support our local businesses who support us so generously.

Summary below; for more details please visit local news and social media sources or contact a CFEF member.

    • Registration will begin at 5:30 at city parking lot/back deck and is limited to 150 hands – so the odds are really good. One hand per donation/person.
    • Test your dart skills for a wild card to improve your hand.
    • Collect seven sealed cards, one from each of the participating businesses.
    • Return to the registration table before 8:15 to reveal, score and record your best five card hand.
    • Cash prize winners for the top three hands announced around 8:45.
      1st–$1,000 sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants  |  2nd–$500  |  3rd–$250
    • Enjoy specials the night of the event from our local merchants plus local food truck. Additional coupons for Club 252 members.

You can support the Cannon Falls Education Foundation in many ways.  We welcome anyone who would like to donate time, energy, money, or talent to help us meet our goals. Donations are tax-deductible and may be made online, by check, stock, or bonds.  Donations can also be made in memory of someone or in honor of a special teacher or student.
