The Cannon Falls Education Foundationbudget for funding programs is based on the fund-raising efforts fromthe previous year. For the 2011-2012 school year, our budget forcreative and innovative projects is $70,000. This is up $32,000 fromthe 2010-2011 school year.
Inaddition to the budgeted programs, the Cannon Falls EducationFoundation accepts directed donations. We're approached by communitymembers, organization, and businesses with a donation for a specificproject. When these projects meet our criteria of providing creativeand innovative experiences for students in the Cannon Falls SchoolDistrict and have support from the school staff, the donations areaccepted and used to fund the project.
